Very chilling, very well done, and worthy of homage/parody/artistic reinterpretation, methinks. Also a great way to scare a youngster shitless about nukes. Watching documentaries as a kid is how I began to obsess over this subject, and I let Hank have that.
I love the reassurance offered by the speaker in “Great Gig in the Sky”, that whole “And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do I don’t mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There’s no reason for it, you’ve gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.” And yet you watch that video and you read CTE and you can’t help but feel afraid of death, especially by nukes.
